According to the statistics of news release of foreign investment, from January to September 2018, Newly Approved Foreign-invested Enterprises amounted to 45922, up by 95.1% year on year; and the actual use of foreign investment reached USD 97.96 billion（RMB 636.7billion）, up by 6.4% year on year.

According to the statistics of news release of foreign investment, in September 2018, Newly Approved Foreign-invested Enterprises amounted to 4591, up by 45.7% year on year; and the actual use of foreign investment reached USD 11.46 billion（RMB 76.27billion）, up by 8.3% year on year.

From January to September this year, the top ten nations and regions with investment in China (as per the actual input of foreign capital) are as follows: Hong Kong (USD68.16b), Singapore (USD4.14b) , Taiwan Province(USD3.89b) , R.O.K.(USD3.78b), Japan (USD3.15b) , U.K. (USD3.05b), U.S.A. (USD2.78b) , Germany (USD1.89b) , Netherlands (USD1.03b) and Macao (USD970m), total of which accounted for 94.7% of total actual use of foreign investment in the country.
