MOFCOM Spokesperson’s Remarks on China-U.S. Economic and Trade Consultations
Q: We have noted that the Chinese side said previously that China and the U.S. would hold the sixth round of China-U.S. economic and trade consultations in the near future. Does MOFCOM have any latest updates?
A: As agreed by the two sides, He Lifeng, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, will lead a delegation to France from March 14 to 17 to hold economic and trade consultations with the U.S. side. Following the important consensus reached by the two heads of state at their Busan meeting and during their phone calls, the two sides will engage in consultations on economic and trade issues of respective concern.
