The 11th Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Joint Committee Meeting was held in Chiang Mai, Thailand on November 20, attended by representatives from all 15 member states and the ASEAN Secretariat. The meeting aimed to fully implement the consensus reached at the RCEP Leaders’ Meeting in October. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on key agenda items, including the comprehensive and effective implementation of the RCEP agreement, advancing the accession process for new members, preparing for the general review of the agreement in 2027, and further improving the institutional mechanisms of RCEP.
