A: In 2026, MOFCOM held the National Agricultural Products Production and Marketing Conference for the second consecutive year under the theme of “Linking Agriculture and Commerce for Rural Revitalization”. This year’s conference featured two large-scale matchmaking events in the southern and northern regions.

The southern region event held in Guiyang from September 17 to 20 has concluded successfully. Its scale and results improved significantly compared with last year. Preliminary statistics showing that signed contracts and intended procurement amounted to RMB 8.52 billion. The conference set up a special zone for rural revitalization assistance, showcasing distinctive rural resources from multiple dimensions and helping local specialty products go beyond rural areas and reach the whole country. This year’s conference held the ASEAN ecological food matchmaking event for the first time in coordination with the Export to China initiative, bringing more quality overseas agricultural products to Chinese dining tables.
