A: China has repeatedly articulated its solemn position concerning the erroneous remarks on China’s Taiwan region made by Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae, urging Japan to immediately rectify its wrong words and actions, and demonstrate through concrete steps its commitment to its promises to China, thereby creating conditions for normal trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. If Japan persists in going down the wrong path, China will firmly take necessary measures, and Japan will bear all the ensuing consequences.
