Announcement No.11, 2007 of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, on Releasing the Final Determination of Anti-dumping Investigation on Imported Nonyl Phenol Originated from India, Taiwan Region Wednesday,May 09,2007 Posted: 14:51 BJT(0651 GMT)  CAITEC In accordance with Anti-dumping Regulations of the People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Commerce released announcement on Dec 29, 2005, deciding to carry out anti-dumping investigation on nonyl phenol originating from India and Taiwan Region. Ministry of Commerce carried out in investigation on dumping and dumping profit margin as well as injury and injury extent on investigated commodities. In line with investigation result and Article 24 of Anti-dumping regulations of the People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Commerce released preliminary arbitration on Jul 10, 2006, confirming dumping of the investigated commodity as well as the causality between dumping of the investigated commodity and the injury of mainland industries. After issuance of the preliminary arbitration, Ministry of Commerce continued to carry out investigation on dumping and dumping profit margin as well as injury and injury extent, and issued the final arbitration in light with investigation result and Article 25 of the Anti-dumping Regulations of the People’s Republic of China. Related matters are now announced as follows: 1. Final Arbitration In line with investigation, Ministry of Commerce finally verdicts dumping of the investigated commodity, injures the mainland nonyl phenol industries, and the existence of causality between dumping of the investigated commodity and the injury of domestic industries. 2. Imposing Anti-dumping Duties In accordance with Anti-dumping Regulations of the People’s Republic of China, Tariff Committee of the State Council decides to impose anti-dumping duties on nonyl phenol originating from India and Taiwan Region as from Mar 29, 2007. The tariff codes of the investigated commodity are 429071310.
