Purchasing Price of Raw Material in Guangdong in the First Quarter Increased by 8.3% Tuesday,April 13,2004 Posted: 08:38 BJT(0038 GMT) In the first quarter of 2004, purchasing price of raw material in Guangdong Province increased by 8.3%, which was the biggest growth rate within the past 3 years. And raw material price of smelting and pressing of ferrous metals was up by 18.5%, transportation and equipment manufacture up by 8.1%. Among 37 industries, import price of raw material of 27 industries was higher than the ex-factory price.
