In January-October 2018, the bilateral trade volume between China and Thailand was US$66.38 billion, up 9.94%. Among these, Thailand’s exports to China were US$24.92 billion, up 3.76%; its imports from China were US$41.46 billion, up 14.02%.

In the first three quarters of 2018, China applied for 85 (accounting for 12%) preferential investment projects in Thailand, involving an investment of 22.75 billion baht (accounting for 13%), ranking Thailand’s second largest source of investment.
