According to the statistics of the Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, China’s ODI across all industries reached RMB361.9 billion from January to April in 2023, up by 26.1% (equivalent to USD52.78 billion, up by 17.1% year on year). China’s domestic investors made non-financial direct investments in 3,379 overseas companies in 147 countries and regions around the world, amounting to RMB289.29 billion, up by 26.6% year on year (equivalent to USD42.19 billion, up by 17.6% year on year).
