From January to March 2023, Chinese companies sent 80,000 service workers overseas, 29,000 more than the same period last year. In breakdown, 25,000 people were sent to work in contracted projects, while 55,000 were sent in the form of labor service cooperation. There were 547,000 Chinese service workers abroad by the end of March.
