According to the statistics of the Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, in January 2022, China’s all-sector overseas direct investment was RMB75.48 billion, up 7.1% (USD11.87 billion, up 9.1%) year-on-year. Specifically, China’s non-financial direct investment by domestic investors in 1,095 overseas businesses from 141 countries and regions amounted to RMB58.18 billion, up 6.2% (USD9.15 billion, up 8.2%) year-on-year.
