According to the statistics by the Ministry of Commerce and State Administration of Foreign Exchange, in the first seven months of this year, China’s outbound direct investment across all sectors amounted to RMB450.99 billion, down by 3.3% year on year (equivalent to USD64.17 billion, down by 6.5% year on year), of which China’s non-financial direct investment in 4,625 overseas enterprises of 161 countries and regions reached RMB423.65 billion, with an decrease of 2.1% year on year (equivalent to USD60.28 billion and down by 5.4% year on year).
