In 2017, the total import and export value of China reached US$4.10447 trillion, with an increase of 11.4% year on year (the same as below). The export was US$2.26349 trillion, with an increase of 7.9% and the import was US$1.84098 trillion, with an increase of 15.9%, the trade surplus was US$422.51 billion, with a decrease of 17%.
In December, the total value of the Chinese import and export was US$408.89 billion, with an increase of 8%. The export was US$231.79 billion, with an increase of 10.9% and the import was US$177.1 billion, with an increase of 4.5%. The trade surplus was US$54.69 billion, with an increase of 38.3%.
