Announcement of the Ministry of Commerce [2017] No.30-- Announcement on the Termination of Anti-dumping Measures Imposed on Epichlorohydrin Imports from Russia, Republic of Korea, Japan and the U.S.

On June 28, 2006, the Ministry of Commerce issued the Announcement [2006] No.44, determining to impose the anti-dumping measures on the Epichlorohydrin (ECH) imports from Russia, Republic of Korea (ROK), Japan and the U.S. for 5 years.

On June 28, 2011, the Ministry of Commerce launched the final review investigation on such anti-dumping measures. On June 27, 2012, the Ministry of Commerce issued the Announcement [2012] No.32, determining to carry out the original anti-dumping measures for 5 years from June 28, 2012.

On November 7, 2016, the Ministry of Commerce issued the Announcement [2016] No.61, announcing the expiry of the anti-dumping measures above on June 27, 2017, and that the natural person or legal person of or on behalf of the domestic industry, or organizations concerned, may in writing submit the application for final review to the Ministry of Commerce within 60 days before the expiry date of such anti-dumping measures.

Where the domestic ECH industry or its representative does not submit any application for final review within the time limit specified in the announcement, the Ministry of Commerce also decides to not initiate the final review investigation on an active basis. In this respect, the anti-dumping measures applicable to ECH imports from Russia, ROK, Japan and the U.S. will be terminated as of June 28, 2017.
