On June 20, 2016, the Ministry of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as the "Investigation Authority") issued the Announcement [2016] No.30, deciding to re-investigate the anti-dumping case on imports of high-performance stainless steel seamless pipes originated in European Union and Japan for implementing the rulings and recommendations of the Dispute Settlement Body of the World Trade Organization on the dispute over the "China's anti-dumping measures on imports of high-performance stainless steel seamless pipes originated in European Union and Japan" in accordance with the provisions of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China and the Interim Rules on the Implementation of Trade Relief Dispute Adjudications of the World Trade Organization.

During the period of the re-investigation, the applicant of the original anti-dumping case filed an application with the Investigation Authority to cancel the original anti-dumping measures on behalf of the domestic industry. Upon review, the Investigation Authority gave consent to the application for cancelling the original anti-dumping measures. Upon consent of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council, the decision was made to terminate the anti-dumping measures on imports of high-performance stainless steel seamless pipes originated in European Union and Japan in accordance with Article 57 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China and Articles 2 and 6 of the Interim Rules on the Implementation of Trade Relief Dispute Adjudications of the World Trade Organization as of August 22, 2016. The product is listed under tariff numbers of 73044110 and 73044910 in the Customs Import and Export Tariff of the People's Republic of China.

Any person who refuses to accept the ruling of this case may, according to the relevant provisions of Article 53 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China, apply for an administrative reconsideration or initiate a litigation to the people's court according to the law.

The Announcement will take effect as of August 22, 2016.
