MOFCOM Announcement No.43 of 2017 - MOFCOM Announcement on the Enforcement of the World Trade Organization Dispute Ruling on "China's Anti-dumping Measures against Cellulose Pulp Imports Originating in Canada"

On April 4, 2014, the Ministry of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as the "investigation organ") issued the Announcement No.18 of 2014, deciding to impose anti-dumping duties on cellulose pulp imports originating in the United States, Canada and Brazil.

On May 22, 2017, the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) of the World Trade Organization (WTO) adopted the report of an expert panel on the dispute over "China's anti-dumping measures against cellulose pulp imports originating in Canada".

In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Anti-dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China and the Interim Rules for the Enforcement of the World Trade Organization Rulings on Trade Remedy Disputes of the Ministry of Commerce, the investigating organ has decided to reinvestigate the case on the date of promulgation hereof, and enforce the ruling and recommendation specified in the above report of the WTO. During the reinvestigation period, the interested parties may inquire the relevant information through the public information inquiry room for trade remedies of the Ministry of Commerce and the website of the Ministry of Commerce.
