On August 3, MOFCOM released Announcement No. 31 of 2020, marking the beginning of an anti-dumping investigation on imported Polyphenylene ether (also known as Polyphenylene Oxide, abbreviated PPE or PPO) originating from the United States. The tariff line of the product is 39072090 under the Customs Import and Export Tariff of the People's Republic of China. Usually, the investigation will be completed before August 3, 2021, while under certain conditions the investigation period could be extended to February 3, 2022.
