On February 1, 2019, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (the "MOFCOM") issued Announcement No.4 of 2019, deciding to continue levying the anti-dumping duties on imports of potato starch originating in the EU for five years from February 6 according to the final review results.

The MOFCOM applied the anti-dumping measures against imports of potato starch originating in the EU from February 2007. In April 2011, the MOFCOM adjusted the anti-dumping duty rate applicable to the EU companies. In February 2018, as applied by the domestic industry, the MOFCOM initiated an investigation for final review.
