On March 22, 2018, witnessed by leaders of China and Cameroon, Minister of Commerce Zhong Shan and Cameroonian Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development signed Economic and Technological Cooperation Agreement between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Cameroon, MOU on Human Resources Development Cooperation and MOU on Infrastructure Cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Cameroon.

The trade and economic relations between China and Cameroon saw rapid development since the establishment of the two countries’ diplomatic relations in 1971. The signing of those documents will further explore new cooperation areas and upgrade bilateral friendship between the two countries.
