The Chinese Ministry of Commerce released Announcement No. 33 of 2018 on March 26, 2018, deciding to launch an anti-dumping investigation against the Phenol products imported from the US, the EU, the Republic of Korea, Japan and Thailand. The product’s name is Phenol and it is under item 29071110 of the Customs Import and Export Tariff of the People’s Republic of China. The investigation expects to end before March 26, 2019 and may be postponed till September 26, 2019 under special circumstances.
