MOFCOM Released its Final Ruling on Expiry Review of Anti-dumping Investigation into Imports of Paper for Electrolytic Capacitor Originating in Japan

MOFCOM released, on April 18, its Announcement No. 19 of 2013 and decided to continue the anti-dumping measures on paper for electrolytic capacitor imports originating in Japan for five years as of April 18, 2013.

In response to petition from China’s paper for electrolytic capacitor industry, MOFCOM released on April 18, 2012 its Announcement No. 15, deciding to start expiry review on anti-dumping measures on paper for electrolytic capacitor imports originating in Japan.

The investigation confirmed that the dumping and injury would continue if terminating anti-dumping measures on such product imports from Japan.

According to the Regulations on Anti-dumping of the People’s Republic of China, MOFCOM will continue the implementation of anti-dumping measures on paper for electrolytic capacitor imports originating in Japan and it will last for five years from April 18, 2013. Tariff No. of paper for electrolytic capacitor is 48059110 under Import and Export Tariffs of the People's Republic of China.

The Ministry of Commerce released its Announcement No. 30, 2007 on April 17, 2007, deciding to implement final anti-dumping measures on imports of paper for electrolytic capacitor originating in Japan for 5 years.
