![]() Witnessed by the Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and his New Zealand counterpart Helen Clark, Minister of Commerce Chen Deming and New Zealand Trade Minister Phil Goff signed the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of New Zealand at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on April 7. Covering various sectors such as goods trade, trade in services, investment, etc., the said agreement is the first comprehensive free trade agreement signed between China and another country, as well as the first one of its kind with a developed country. |
