A total of 25 ceramics enterprises from Jingdezhen attend the 104th Canton Fair. They get 71 booths, nearly 50 percent of that obtained by the Jiangxi Delegation at the Phase 2 fair. The exhibits of the enterprise not only include the traditional craftworks, but also ceramics for daily use, decoration and building. The diversified types and function of the ceramics and the perfect combination of arts and practicability attract many customers. Many purchasers have inquired and even placed their orders on the first day of the Phase 2 fair. A person in charge said that the situation of customers on the first day were better than expected. This should be due to the establishment of the industry chain that has brought new opportunities for the ceramics industry of Jingdezhen. From manual mills to mass production, from art ceramics to an integrated industry chain, the ceramics industry of Jingdezhen has been developed for nearly a thousand years. In recent years, Jingdezhen has been dedicating to technological innovation and attracting other national and international ceramics enterprises to form the ceramics industry cluster of Jingdezhen. Now, a reasonable industry chain has been established. This year, Jingdezhen Ceramic Industry Park, consisting of 57 enterprise members (31 of which are enterprises above designated size), invested 2.762 billion yuan to introduce 12 projects. It seems that a ceramics industry cluster has began to take shape. |
