![]() A domestic purchase group consisting of 10 company representatives debuted at the imports section of the 104th Canton Fair with the support of Shanghai, Changchun and Hunan purchase groups on the morning of October 16. The fair has adopted new services to expand on-site business transactions. The group has visited exhibitors from various count ries and regions all over the world. When they came to a Korean stand on Thursday morning, they were attracted by a newly developed producta multif unction rack with 60° autorotation that can bear things weighting 22 kilograms. The rack's low price, 21 yuan, made their mouth water. They said they were willing to sign contracts with the Korean company. The American special stores have brought three main products, i.e. California wine, health nutritious products as well as facial and body care products. Yang Hongnan, chairman of the China-US Export Association, showed that the export business, to some extent, will help the US survive the economic crisis nder the gloomy economic environment.So he American pecial stores ave great xpectations of the fair. "The wines on display at the fair have been made f rom high-quality grapes coming from California farms. “The California wines take up 40 % of the total market shares in the American market. We commit ourselves to strict inspections on each production circle and sincerely hope to co-operate with Chinese customers", said Yang. What Yang has said attracted domestic customers' attention, who asked for relevant materials and consulted him about the matters on setting up chain stores in China. Most customers and exhibitors spoke high of the market-oriented free networking method. "The face-to-face way the fair adopted to organize international purchase groups to negotiate with exhibitors has greatly enhanced our confi dence in Chinese market and helped us understand demands from the Chinese market", said a Turkey exhibitor. Ni Jinfan, general manager of Bailian Group, said that they have found many new products through the face-to-face exchanges with foreign exhibitors. "We will keep in touch with these customers for further cooperation," he said. |
