On April 22nd, CICGF staffs paid a visit to Mal-Mart (China) Investment Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen to invite them to attend the 8th CICGF this June. The visit turned out to be a successful one. In the past sessions, Wal-Mart had sent buyers to make sourcing, and for this coming 8th CICGF, to make a better business and promotion, Wal-Mart will make her first appearance as an exhibitor as well.

Besides sourcing and exhibiting in the fair, Wal-Mart is also invited to hold Promotion Conference during the fair. Up to now, as discussed, Wal-Mart will have 36 m²(equals to 4 standard booths) in the Overseas Section, and hold one-day Matching Sourcing Conference on June 9th.

Faced with global financial crisis, to most of foreign trade companies in China, energetically expanding the domestic market has become one of the main solutions against the economic recession. During the Canton Fair this year, Ministry of Commerce has provided a platform for enterprises to explore the domestic market ,which was not only a stopgap for the decline of the enterprises’ export, but more importantly a useful effort to change network of Chinese commodity circulation. Under such global economic circumstances, Wal-Mart plans to start a new project “Plan for export-oriented enterprises to explore domestic market”, making full use of its commercial advantages and distribution network to help the export-oriented enterprises expand domestic market.

Therefore, during the CICGF, "Training for the export-oriented enterprises to expand domestic market" will be held by the organizing committee of CICGF and Wal-Mart in Ningbo International Conference & Exhibition Center.
