 9月2日，中国商务部长陈德铭率领中国代表团前往印度首都新德里，参加将于当地举行的为期3天的世界贸易组织（WTO）小型部长会。本次小型部长会由印度提议召开并主办，是WTO各谈判方的部长们自2008年7月日内瓦小型部长会受挫以来的首次聚会，以期重启目前陷入僵局的多哈回合谈判。 中国代表团认为，本次会议应充分反映今年7月意大利拉奎拉G8+5峰会上各国领导人达成的共识和承诺，为在2010年成功结束多哈回合谈判奠定坚实的基础。在全球经济仍深受金融危机冲击的大背景下，以发展为目标的多哈回合谈判的成功，将促进包括发展中国家在内的各国从世界贸易中获益，促进全球GDP的增长，同时也将重振世界经济复苏的信心，成功抵御贸易保护主义。中国是自由贸易的坚定支持者，将一如既往地为多哈谈判的成功结束发挥建设性作用。中方愿与各方共同努力，推动谈判取得实质性进展。 |
