 8月22日，商务部部长陈德铭在北京与刚刚履新的美国新任驻华大使洪博培举行会谈。 陈德铭对洪博培出任驻华大使表示欢迎，希望洪博培大使充分利用他在国际经贸领域内的丰富经验，继续为中美两国经贸关系的发展做出积极贡献。 陈德铭表示，中美建交30年来，两国关系不断向前发展，中美已互为最重要的经贸伙伴。今年以来，双方高层交往频繁，两国不久前成功举行了首轮中美战略与经济对话，年内双方领导人还将在多个场合会晤，相信这将有利于推动中美互利合作的进一步发展。在当前世界经济面临困难的情况下，恪守G20承诺，反对贸易保护主义措施是当务之急，这有利于世界各国经济的尽早复苏。 洪博培表示，非常荣幸在上任第一天即与中国商务部长举行会谈。美国政府十分重视与中国的经贸关系，愿与中方一起反对贸易保护主义措施。 双方就中美共同关注的经贸问题交换了意见。     |
