 中国和新加坡双边合作联合委员会第六次会议２４日在新加坡举行。国务院副总理王岐山和新加坡副总理黄根成共同主持会议。 王岐山高度评价中新关系。他说，新加坡是中国友好邻邦，两国建交以来，高层互访频繁，各领域合作全方位推进。在国际和地区事务中，双方保持着密切的沟通和合作。王岐山强调，联委会是两国政府间重要合作机制，对促进双方各领域合作发挥了重要作用。在国际金融危机背景下，中新两国积极探讨新的合作方式和领域，携手迎接挑战，实现共同发展，具有重要意义。 王岐山说，新加坡在东盟有重要影响。中新加强合作，有利于两国关系和各自发展，也有利于推动中国与东盟合作，促进地区和平与繁荣。明年是两国建交２０周年，希望双方以此为契机，进一步发掘潜力，推动两国关系再上新台阶。 |
