 5月17日下午，商务部长陈德铭主持召开会议，结合前一阶段的抗震救灾工作，研究恢复灾区商业网点，保障灾区市场供应等工作。 陈德铭指出，汶川地震后，商务部立即按照党中央、国务院的部署，紧急行动起来，根据灾区需要，在全国范围内组织调运了大批救灾物资，克服各种困难，及时运往灾区，并协调接受了一批企业和国际机构的援助，有力支持了灾区的抗震救灾工作。当前抗震救灾工作的任务仍然非常紧迫，要及时摸清灾区商业设施的实际状况，采取有效措施，按照抗震救灾工作统一部署，逐步恢复受灾地区的商业网点。帮助灾区协调组织货源，确实保障灾区的市场供应。 5月18日，陈德铭赶赴四川灾区，实地了解情况，协调解决保障市场供应和商务领域重建工作相关问题。 |
