For further carrying out the direction spirit advanced by the CHITEC organizing committee who call for making good use of the CHITEC to provide services for domestics province and cities and trying to set up a international famous conference to make good preparations for the 10 th CHITEC, entrusted by the vice president and secretary-general of organizing committee, the vice mayor of secretary-general, Luhao , the organizing committee office hold the domestics provincial and cities’ working conference of the 10th CHITEC in Jiangxi province from 25, sep. to 27, sep. 2006. The vice secretary-general of organizing committee, Wang Xiaoming made an important speech on the conference. More than 50 principles of science and technology office and trade promotion council from 20 domestic provinces and cities attended the conference. The permanent vice secretary-general of organizing committee, the chairman of Beijing trade promotion council, Zhou Maofei introduce the planning principle and idea of the 10th CHITEC in detail. He mentioned: with the rudder of “Beijing building the platform to serve the whole country” and the emphasis of “strengthen service, promote quality and build up benefit”, striving to accelerate the science and technology industrialization and economy development of domestic provinces and cities, the 10th CHITEC will be characteristic, high quality and effective., Zhou explained the planning ideas and the activity scale of the concrete activity one by one, such as exhibition, large-scale activity, negotiation recommendation and forum conference and expressed thanksgiving for the care, supporting, wisdom and painstaking effort of domestics provinces and cities paid for CHITEC. The vice president of organizing committee and Beijing Trade Promotion Council, Xu Yuwei introduced the service for Domestic Provincial and Cities’ Delegations provided by the 10th CHITEC through six aspects. The conference was presided by the commissary of organizing committee, the vice president of Beijing Trade Promotion Council, Chu Xiangyin. The head of science and technology department of Jiangxi province, Wanghai, the vice head, Zuo Ximing, the vice head of science and technology department of Gansu province, Zheng Huaping, the vice head of science and technology department of Qinghai province, Gao Yanlin, the assistant inspector of science and technology department of Ningxia made speech on the conference. They think: hearing of the ideas and suggestion of domestic provinces and cities in the planning phrase, the general scheme embody the CHITEC’s rudder of “Beijing build the platform to serve the whole country”. Everybody consider conformably: the CHITEC promote the development of economy. Constructive suggestions have been advanced for the healthy and continual development of CHITEC through eight aspects, which include further digging information, increasing activity contents suitable to different districts, adding the achievement demonstration of the previous conferences, the 10 years celebration activity and activity related to Olympics.The section chief of China Science and Technology department, Zhaojing and section chief of China Information Industry made speeches on the conference. The vice secretary-general of Beijing municipal, Wang Xiaoming talked after hearing everyone’s ideas and suggestions. He firstly expressed the thanks for the care and supporting of the other provinces and cities on behalf of the government of Beijing municipal, and then he said: the 10th CHITEC illuminate its vitality. The success of CHITEC firstly depended on the care of the leaders of China and then on the supporting of other brother provinces and cities. Continual development of the CHITEC needs the efforts of all sponsors to meet different requirements of domestic provinces and cities. How to see activities of CHITEC through and how to solve the problem of running out of government’s direction to market orientation are still in exploration in the back ground of socialism market economy. So firstly, the form must be unified with content; secondly, with the premise of insisting on internationalization and specialization, market operation must be promoted; thirdly, creativity, practicability and demonstration effect must be embodied as possible as it could. At the same time, only adopting good ideas and viewpoints extensively can the 10th CHITEC be planned and organized well to provide better services for domestic provinces and cities and to get better results.
