Latest news from China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) Secretariat say the 4th CAEXPO has completed the task of exhibitor invitation and customer-centered strategy is settled, which will strengthen professional services to customers. Total 3300 booths have been booked. Chinese enterprises cover 2284 booths while receiving 2800 applications. The booth number organized by associations exceeds greatly to the government departments. Chinese exhibitors focus on engineering machinery, food processing and packaging machinery, electric power equipment, building materials etc which have huge demand in ASEAN countries. Participants are of higher quality. Proportion of China’s investment projects in ASEAN raise. China Science and Technology Ministry will continue to host rural applicable technology exhibition. The Expo 6 key areas are food processing and packaging machinery, electric power equipment, building materials, agricultural food, wood furniture, light industry & crafts. Effort on buyer invitation is strengthened and matching services are performed to enhance effectiveness. The businessmen database of more than 2 million ASEAN-China enterprises is improved. Target-oriented and broad invitation brings more buyers with clearer procurement will. Hundreds of Chinese food companies and department store chains are invited to procure in the Expo such as Shanghai Yu Yuan, and Guangming Food Group. 20,000 professional buyers are estimated this year.
