| Fang Aiqing Attends the Mayors’ Forum on Sustainable Development of the 4th ECC and Delivers a Speech |

On Apr. 26, the Mayor’s Forum on Sustainable Development---Dialogue between Mayors and Multinational Enterprises of the 4th ECC organized by the Ministry of Commerce is held in Hefei, Anhui, and Fang Aiqing, assistant to commercial minister, and Zhang Jun, deputy director of the People’s Congress of Anhui Province, attends the forum and delivers speeches. Liu Yajun, director of the Investment Promotion Agency of MOFCOM presides over the forum. Over 200 people including about 40 domestic and overseas mayors and over 20 CEO of multinational enterprises attend the forum. Centering on such key words as “harmony”, “innovation”, “consumption” and “sustainable”, they make a deep discussion on cooperation between Chinese cities and multinational enterprises to take measures in response to the current global financial crisis to change “crisis” to “opportunities” and achieve a sustainable development of cities and enterprises. The forum is fruitful. |
