A second meeting titled "International Investment Forum" is also going to be held, focusing on promoting international investment and building a harmonious world. Workshops to facilitate discussion on the consolidation of corporate income taxes, service outsourcing and regional economic co-development are on the agenda as well. "More emphasis will be placed on cross-Straits cooperation," he said. The National Tourism Administration and Fujian provincial government will co-organize the third Cross-Straits Tourism Exposition and the Fujian provincial government will organize the second forum related to the Economic Zone on the Western Bank of the Taiwan Straits, Ye noted of this year's CIFIT, adding that invitations will be extended to Taiwanese business and industrial organizations, as well as investors, so that cross-Straits economic cooperation and exchanges can be enhanced. To promote two-way investment and China's outbound investment, a matchmaking symposium for service outsourcing projects will be held during CIFIT, with the aim of enhancing the capability of China's service industries to penetrate the world service outsourcing market. Such matchmaking symposiums will include those concerning transportation projects and listed companies' investment projects, as well as those targeting specific countries like China, Singapore and India.
