Saturday morning, China-Turkey Seminar on Economic & Trade Cooperation was held at Xiamen International Convention & Exhibition Center. Kursat Tuzmen, Turkish State Minister, and Ma Xiuhong, vice minister of the Ministry of Commerce addressed the meeting. At the seminar, Turkish officials briefed about the investment environment in Turkey. Government officials and entrepreneurs of both countries made speeches on Dialogue between Turkey and China in Business, Tourist Collaboration for both countries and Bilateral Trade Relations an Investment Collaboration of the two countries. Participants said China and Turkey are complementary in economy and have great potentials for collaboration. They are confident that the bilateral trade collaboration will make a big step forward with the joint efforts of the two governments and business people. Over the years, the two countries have seen fast growth in bilateral trade and economy and the trade volume increased from 1.4 billion US dollars 5 years ago to 8.1 billion US dollars last year. |
