According to Xiamen Customs, the customs has made full preparations regarding supervision and inspection for CIFIT, to ensure instant customs clearance for exhibits transported from overseas. This year CIFIT, has set up a new exhibition area for imports. Xiamen Customs will follow up the flow of exhibits, from their entry to the closing of CIFIT, so that the exhibitors can more easily cancel the exhibition after verification at the end of the fair. The customs will also deploy special personnel to supervise and handle different situations, as some exhibitors may include the exhibits in their return journey or sell them on the spot. In addition, Xiamen Customs has opened special passages at Gaoqi International Airport and Heping Dock. With the list of exhibits and letter of indemnity confirmed by the CIFIT sponsors, exhibitors can declare in advance at the CIFIT Window of the customs to go through relevant procedures after shipment of the exhibits. When the exhibits arrive at ports, they will be sealed immediately and transmitted to the exhibition centre. The customs clearance will be carried out at the centre when exhibitors are unloading the exhibits. |
