Sanming has been preparing for the 11th CIFIT, China International Fair for Investment and Trade. By the late August, the city expects to close 42 deals for foreign investment with a total of 240 million U.S. dollars. This year, Sanming city of northwestern Fujian has prepared 360 investment projects for a wide range of industrial sectors from infrastructures to Infornation Technology. 12 of the prospective projects will be related to investment from Taiwan with a total of about sixty million U.S. dollars. The investment will cover a wide range of industries like agriculture, fisheries, forestry products, food processing and tourism. In addition, the city has also invited over 200 investors from home and abroad to the seminars for their overseas investment projects. |
