| CHITEC 2009 Opened on May 20th in Beijing |

 In the morning of May 19, 2009, the 12th CHITEC opened in Beijing’s Great Hall of the People with a Keynote Session. Mr. Liu Qi, Politburo Member and Beijing’s Party Secretary, was present at the Keynote Session, which was presided over by Beijing Mayor Guo Jinlong, who is also the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 12th CHITEC. Politburo Member and State Councilor Liu Yandong delivered a keynote speech entitled “Leading Development with Technology Innovation”. Two Nobel prize winners and other VIPs also spoke at the Keynote Session. |
