The 6-day 12th CHITEC closed in the afternoon of May 24, 2009. This year’s CHITEC was held under the dual-impact of the international financial crisis and the global epidemic of the Type-A H1N1 flu. According to incomplete statistics, during the 12th CHITEC, agreements were signed for 107 projects valuing at USD3.926 billion in total, growing 39% over last year. Among them, 83 projects were from the participating Chinese provinces and cities valuing at USD1.62 billion in total, accounting for 41% of the total value of the agreements signed; 24 projects were from Beijing’s urban development functional areas and economic & technological development zones valuing at USD2.306 billion in total, accounting for 59% of the total value of the agreements signed. |
