Brief on China's Import & Export (2008/09)

According to preliminarily statistics of Customs, China's total import and export in Jan. through Sep. in 2008 amounted to US$1967.13 billion, up by 25.2% on a year-on-year basis. Of which export was US$1074.06 billion and import US$893.07 billion, up by 22.3% and 29% respectively. In Sep., total import and export in the nation reached US$243.5 billion, up by 21.4%. Of which export was US$136.44 billion and import US$107.07 billion, up by 21.5% and 21.3% respectively.
