1, Overseas contractual projects In the first 8 months of 2007, turnover of China’s contractual project overseas amounted to 22.66 billion USD, up by 32.5% year-on-year. The value of newly signed contracts reached 41.6 billion USD, up by 27.1%. By the end of Aug. 2007, accumulated turnover of China's contractual projects overseas amounted to 188.44billion USD, with 293.51 billion USD contract value. 2, Overseas labor service In the first 8 months of 2007, turnover of China’s labor service overseas amounted to 4.03 billion USD, up by 33% year-on-year. The value of newly signed contracts reached 3.78 billion USD with a year-on-year increase of 15.6%. Number of personnel dispatched for overseas service amounted to 239 thousand, 6 thousands more than that in the same period of 2006 and 749 thousand in total by the end of Aug., 90 thousand more than that in the same period of the previous year. By the end of Aug 2007, accumulated turnover of China’s labor service personnel overseas amounted to 45.01 billion USD, with 49.37 billion USD contract value. 40.56 thousands of labors were dispatched overseas. 3, Design and consultant service overseas In the first 8 months of 2007, turnover of China’s design and consultant service overseas amounted to 179 million USD, up by 2.8%, and the value of newly signed contracts reached 404 million USD, up by 48% year-on-year. By the end of Aug 2007, accumulated turnover of design and consultant service overseas amounted to 1.91 billion USD, and value of newly signed contracts reached 3.15 billion USD. |
