1, Contractual projects From Jan to Mar, 2006, turnover of China's contractual projects overseas amounted to US$5.98bln, up by 65.2% on a year-on-year basis. And value of newly signed contracts reached US$8.25bln, up by 79.3%. By the end of Mar, 2006, accumulated turnover of China's contractual projects overseas amounted to US$141.8bln, with contract value of US$194.2bln. 2, Labor service From Jan to Mar, 2006, turnover of China's labor service overseas amounted to US$990mln, up by 5.3% on a year-on-year basis. And value of newly signed contracts reached US$1.23bln with a year-on-year increase of 31%. Overseas labor amounted to 80 thousand, 33 thousand more than that in the same period of the previous year and 589 thousand in total by the end of Mar, 81 thousand more than that in the same period of the previous year. By the end of Mar, 2006, turnover of China's labor service overseas was US$36.61bln, with contractual value of US$41.6bln, overseas labor amounted to 3.546mln. 3, Design and consultation service From Jan to Mar, 2006, turnover of China's design and consultation service overseas amounted to US$40mln, decreased by 13% and value of newly signed contracts reached US$71mln, decreased by 32.4%. By the end of Mar, 2006, accumulated turnover of design and consultation service overseas amounted to US$1.44bln, and contract value reached US$2.41bln. (Source: Network Center of MOFCOM) |
