1, Contractual projects In Jan, 2006, turnover of China's contractual projects overseas amounted to US$1,353mln, up by 1.7% on a year-on-year basis. And value of newly signed contracts reached US$2.54bln, up by 38%. By the end of Jan, 2006, accumulated turnover of China's contractual projects overseas amounted to US$137.14bln, with contract value of US$187.65bln. 2, Labor service In Jan, 2006, turnover of China's labor service overseas amounted to US$304mln, up by 8.6% on a year-on-year basis. And value of newly signed contracts reached US$507mln with a year-on-year increase of 53.6%. Overseas labor amounted to 29.7 thousand, 17.4 thousand more than that in the same period of the previous year and 583 thousand in total by the end of Jan., 73 thousand more than that in the same period of the previous year. By the end of Jan. 2006, turnover of China's labor service overseas was US$35.91bln, with contractual value of US$40.87bln, overseas labor amounted to 3.496mln. 3, Design and consultation service In Jan, 2006, turnover of China's design and consultation service overseas amounted to US$8mln, and value of newly signed contracts reached US$11mln. By the end of Jan, 2006, accumulated turnover of design and consultation service overseas amounted to US$1.4bln, and contract value reached US$2.35bln. (Source: Network Center of MOFCOM) |
