In accordance with Import and Export Tariff of the People’s Republic of China, and Announcement No.58, 2007 of Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Public Security, General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, State Administration of Work Safety and State Food and Drug Administration, Ministry of Commerce and General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China adjusted Catalogue of Dual-use Items and Technologies Subject to Import & Export Licensing Administration, the adjusted Catalogue of Dual-use Items and Technologies Subject to Import & Export Licensing Administration (refer to appendix) is now announced. Operators of radioisotopes shall, in accordance with Regulations on Security and Protection of Radioisotopes and Radial Apparatus and Measures for Administration of Dual-use Items and Technologies Subject to Import & Export Licensing, report to State Environmental Protection Administration, once approved, they may apply for dual-use items and technologies subject to import & export license to Quota and License Administrative Bureau. The Customs will go through formalities upon dual-use items and technologies subject to import & export license issued by Quota and License Administrative Bureau. This announcement shall take effect as from Jan 1, 2008, and the Catalogue of Dual-use Items and Technologies Subject to Import & Export Licensing Administration enclosed in Announcement No.96, 2006 of Ministry of Commerce and General Administration of Customs shall be abolished at the same time.
