To strengthen the work of information, consultation and service of the custom statistics, and make the public usage of the custom statistic data expediently, in accordance with the related regulations in Statistic Rules of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, now the Time Table on Issuing Customs Statistic Data of China in 2008 and the related issues are announced as follows: 1.China custom statistics is the trade statistics of China import and export goods. The collection, collation, formulation and promulgation of the statistic data are responsible by China Customs. Applying the international statistic standards of trade in goods, the statistic data of China Customs is comprehensive, credible and internationally comparable. 2.In April 2002, China officially joined the General Data Dissemination System (hereinafter referred to as GDDS) established and implemented by IMF. As the administrative department of formulation and promulgation of the statistic data of trade in China foreign goods, according to the requirements of GDDS, explanations for conception, quality, integrality, public procurability and improvement plans of the statistic data of trade in China foreign goods are made and announced by China Customs. The public may inquire about the details in the website of China Customs（www.customs.gov.cn）and the website of IMF (WWW.IMF.ORG). 3.China Customs has opened the information website of custom statistics (WWW.CHINACUSTOMSSTAT.COM), and more convenient consultation service may be obtained by the society.
