In accordance with Anti-dumping Regulations of the People’s Republic of China, the Tariff Committee of the State Council decided to impose anti-dumping duties on imported cold rolled stainless steel sheet originated from Japan and the Republic of Korea as from Apr 8, 2006, the duration of which is 5 years. Ministry of Commerce and General Administration of Customs respectively released Announcement No.18 of Ministry of Commerce, 2006 and Announcement No.18 of General Administration of Customs. Recently, in line with application on alteration of rights and obligation of NIPPO YAKIN KOGYO CO.，LTD and TAIHAN ST CO.，LTD, Ministry of Commerce released Announcement No.64, 2007, allowing YAKIN KAWASAKI CO.，LTD succeed rights and obligation of NIPPO YAKIN KOGYO CO.，LTD and TAIHAN ST CO.，LTD succeed rights and obligation of TAIHAN ELECTRIC WIRE CO.，LTD in cold rolled stainless steel sheet anti-dumping case. Related issues are now announced as follows: 1.As from Aug 1, 2007, the customs shall impose an anti-dumping duty of 27 percent on cold rolled stainless steel sheet from YAKIN KAWASAKI CO.，LTD, and 58 percent on cold rolled stainless steel sheet from NIPPO YAKIN KOGYO CO.，which is equivalent to that of “all other Japanese company”. 2.as from Aug 1, 2008, as regards cold rolled stainless steel sheet from TAIHAN ST CO.，LTD, the Customs shall implement the price commitment agreement between TAIHAN ELECTRIC WIRE CO.，LTD and Ministry of Commerce; but as regards cold rolled stainless steel sheet from TAIHAN ELECTRIC WIRE CO.，LTD, the Customs shall impose an anti-dumping duty of 58 percent, which is equivalent to that of “all other Japanese company”. 3.From Aug 1, 2007 to the date of release of this announcement, the overcharged or insufficient part of the anti-dumping duty due to the alteration of the rights and obligation in the cold rolled stainless steel sheet anti-dumping case, the customs shall refunded or imposed. 4.Other issues on anti-dumping duties of cold rolled stainless steel sheet originated from Japan and the Republic of Korea are subject to regulations of Announcement of General Administration of Customs.
