For purposes of further regulating administration on transportation enterprises engaged in domestic carriage of goods supervised by the Customs, and promoting healthy development of logistics industry, related issues on implementation of Measures of Customs of the People’s Republic of China for Administration on Transportation Enterprises Engaged in Domestic Highway Carriage of Goods Supervised by the Customs and Their Vehicles and Drivers (released in Announcement No.88 of General Administration of Customs, revised in No.121, hereinafter referred to as Measures) are no released as follows: 1.Customs adopts filing and registration administration on branches of goods transportation enterprises that has obtained qualification of domestic highway carriage of goods supervised by Customs (hereinafter referred to as “branches”). 2.Goods transportation enterprise that has obtained qualification of domestic highway carriage of goods supervised by Customs may apply registration of vehicles of branches with Customs of the locality where it is registered. 3.Change, annual examination and approval and cancellation of vehicles of branches of goods transportation enterprises. 4.In case of violation of above regulations, constituting smuggling and breach of regulations, Customs shall investigate responsibility according to law. 5.This announcement shall take effect as from Aug 20, 2007.
