People’s governments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, ministries and commissions of the State Council and institutions directly under administration: For purposes of strengthening the work of products quality and food safety and promoting overall products quality level, related matters are now notified as follows: 1.promoting awareness and increasing sense of urgency and responsibility of making efforts to carry out work of products quality and food safety; 2.focusing on food security and enhancing products quality supervision in all round manner; 3.consolidating foundation, and accelerating construction of standard system and supervision capacity; 4.intensifying works related to foreign affairs, and properly deal with matters related to trade protectionism and discrimination; 5.improving urgency responding mechanism, and appropriately handling emergencies; 6.enhancing work of public opinion information in an all round way, and insisting the correct direction of public opinion; 7.emphasizing good faith system of products quality, and enhancing construction of quality legal system and propaganda by education; 8.strengthening leadership and clarifying supervision and administration responsibility of product quality and food safety.
