In accordance with The Main Land and Hong Kong Scheme on Establishing Closer Economic and Trade Relations, The Main Land and Macao Scheme on Establishing Closer Economic and Trade Relations as well as complementary agreements, related issues are now announced as follows: 1. Here release the Newly-added Origin Standards of Zero-tariff Commodities of Hong Kong As from Jul 1, 2007 (hereinafter referred to Origin Standards of Hong Kong, please refer to appendix 1) and Newly-added Origin Standards of Zero-tariff Commodities of Macao As from Jul 1, 2007 (hereinafter referred to Origin Standards of Macao, please refer to appendix 2), which shall take effect as from Jul 1, 2007. The names of commodities in Origin Standards of Hong Kong and Origin Standards of Macao are simplified with their scope consistent with commodities with same tariff codes in Import and Export Tariff Regulations of the People’s Republic of China in 2007. As from Jul 1, 2007, imported commodities listed in Origin Standards of Hong Kong and Origin Standards of Macao may enjoy zero-tariff. 2. In accordance with regulations of Announcement No.54, 2005 of General Administration of Customs on confirmation of procedures of watch list of “Hong Kong’s own brand”, the third batch of watch of Hong Kong’s own brand (please refer to Appendix No.3) has been confirmed and is now released. Customs shall go through related formalities upon CEPA origin certification issued by Trade and Industry Department as from Mar 12, 2007. Appendix: 1.
