In accordance with related regulations in the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Customs Statistics, the Time Table on Issuing China's Customs Statistics Data in 2007 is now released to the public, matters of concern are listed as follows: 1. China's Customs Statistics is the statistics on import and export commodity trade in China. The General Administration of Customs of China shall be responsible for the collection, edition and release of the statistics data. The international standards for trade statistics are adopted by the Customs of China. 2. In April, 2002, China entered General Data Dissemination System (GDDS for short) established and promoted by IMF. In accordance with the requirements of GDDS, the General Administration of Customs of China made explanation and publicize the several aspects of the foreign trade statistics data, namely definition, data quality, data integrality, public availability of the data and improvement plans. Detailed content could be reached at WWW.CUSTOMS.GOV.CN or WWW.IMF.ORG. 3. Network for China Customs Statistics Information has been opened, by the General Administration of Customs, at WWW.CHINACUSTOMSSTAT.COM for convenient service to the public.
