In order to ensure steady supplication and qualification safety of live pigs supplied for HongKong, to increase supply channels of live pigs supplied for HongKong, to satisfy the need of HongKong citizens, the list of the 1st passel of registered farm getting the operation right of export on their own of live pigs supplied for HongKong has been promulgated by the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. In accordance with the arrangements and requirements of the reform work of system of live pigs supplied for HongKong, in order to further introduce competition mechanism, to optimize supply methods, to widen supply channel and to decrease middle procedures, the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine will start the work of declaration for the operation qualification of self-conducted export engaged by the 2nd passel of registered farm. Now the Operation Qualification Standards of Export on their own Applied by Registered Farm of the 2nd Passel of Live Pigs Supplied for HongKong (asking for opinions) are announced, asking for opinions of the public. Within one week as from the announcement is promulgated, anyone may put forward opinions to the Ministry of Commerce (Foreign Trade Department).
